Induction ceremony of the Spanish Honor Society

Students were gathered today for their initiation as members who have shown and proven a deep interest in the beautiful Spanish language. This Spanish Honor Society was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 1953, for the students of North American secondary schools; and this chapter is due to the efforts of señoras Amarilys Heard and Tania Vargas of Miami Country Day School, who established it on October 19th, 2023. The name of this chapter is Los Espartanos De Miami. Its motto is “All together". The colors are red and gold. Its insignia and seal are those of the mother association.
