In Tuesday’s Athletic Action......Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Tennis Team. They won the District Championship for the 23rd consecutive year. Max Castanon (Overall Singles District Champion- advances to States), Luca Donayre, Lucas Chemla, Daniel Tzalik, and Oscar Goncalves all won their singles matches, and Max and Luca (Overall Doubles District Champion - advance to States) and Lucas and Daniel won their doubles matches. The Boys will host the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday at 3pm at the North Miami Beach Tennis Center. Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Tennis Team. They won the District Championship for the 8th consecutive year. Allexii Bassette, Brooke Kovacs, Lucia Burton, and Maria Salazar all won their singles matches, and Gabrielle and Allexii Bassette (Overall Doubles District Champion- advance to States) and Lucia and Brooke each won their doubles matches. The Girls will host the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday at 3pm at the North Miami Beach Tennis Center. The Varsity Baseball Tam (8-6) beat Somerset Homestead 14-3. Zac Wyka went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI and scored 2 runs, Timmy Houser and Eric Germeus each scored 3 runs, Jake Wyka and Nate Giovannucci each scored 2 runs, and Dhillon Murphy recorded the win.
Today.....The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team travels to Gulliver to participate in the Regional Finals at 4pm, the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Everglades Prep at 4pm, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Key West to participate in the District Semifinals at 4pm, and the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Belen in the District Finals at 7pm.
On Thursday.....The Softball Team hosts Horeb Christian in the South Florida Softball Conference Semifinals at 5pm, and the Middle School (JV and Varsity) Volleyball Teams travel to Florida Christian at 4/5pm.
