Over Break.....The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (10-3) beat Colonial high School 53-48, beat West Orange 60-32, and beat Dr. Phillips 51-38. Against Colonial, Kayla Nelms led the way with 18 points and 8 rebounds, Andrea Daley had 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, and Kristina Godfrey added 12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Versus West Orange, Andrea Daley had 24 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 assists, Kayla Nelms had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Jada Johnson added 9 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists. In the Dr. Phillips game, Charisse Martin had 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists, Kayla Nelms had 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks, Andrea Daley added 10 points, 15 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists, and Kristina Godfrey had 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 12 assists. The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (4-6) beat Hallandale 62-50, but lost to Dillard 67-48, lost to Grandview Prep 76-55, lost to Boys Anderson 60-37, lost to Westminster Academy 59-56, and lost to Pines Charter 95-59. Against Hallandale, Jasai Miles had 17 points and 12 rebounds, Jordan Cooke added 15 points and 6 rebounds, and Ryan Mendelson had 14 points. Against Dillard, Jasai Miles led the way with 26 points and 10 rebounds and Marc Wendrow had 12 points and 4 assists. In the Boys Anderson game, Jordan Coke had 20 points, and versus Grandview Prep, Jasai Miles had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Ryan Richardson added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Against Pines Charter, Jasai Miles led the way with 18 points and 15 rebounds, and Jordan Cooke added 16 points, and against Westminster Academy, Marc Wendrow had 15 points and Ryan Mendelson added 7 points.
