In Thursday’s Athletic Action..... The Girls Varsity Swim Team (7-3) beat South Florida Heat 140-86, but lost to Lourdes 144-118, and the Boys Varsity Swim Team (4-7) beat South Florida Heat 122-82, but lost to Belen 144-71.  The Boys Middle School Swim Team (2-1) lost to Gulliver 142.5 to 93.5, and the Girls Middle School Swim Team (1-2) lost to Gulliver 165-73.

The Middle School Spartans were led by:
Miguel Escobar (8th) 1st in the 50 Free / 2nd in the 100 Free
Maria Lopez (7th) 3rd in the 200 Free /
Evan Hurwitz (8th) 2nd in the 200 Free / 2nd in the 100 IM
Leni Saltos (7th) 3rd in the 50 Fly
Sabrina Valdivia (8th) 2nd in the 100 Free / 3rd in the 50 Back
Gwyneth Goldstein (7th) 3rd in the 100 Free / 3rd in the 50 Breast
 
On Friday.......The Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (13-4) beat Palmer-Trinity 25-15, 25-16.  Isabella Possin led the way with 6 assists, 3 aces, and 4 digs, Tiana Tolles had 6 aces, 5 digs, and 7 kills, and Sienna Rosenberg added 7 assists, 3 aces, and 1 kill. The Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (6-5) beat Palmer-Trinity 25-10, 25-9. Caera Charles led the way with 3 kills and 3 aces, Ella Gilderman had 2 kills and 4 aces, and Stella Cardillo Ramos added 7 aces, 6 digs, and 2 kills.  The Varsity Volleyball Team (5-13) lost to Palmer-Trinity 25-14, 18-25, 26-28, 15-25. Ashley Michelin led the way with 12 assists and 5 digs, Sasha Vaygensberg had 4 kills and 3 blocks, Simone Hart added 7 digs and 2 kills, Isabella Brod had 13 receptions, 10 digs, 5 kills, and 3 aces, and Francesca Malo had 16 receptions, 18 digs, and 5 aces. The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (4-8) lost to Palmer-Trinity 25-15, 17-25, 6-15. Tatiana Blasky led the way with 6 assists and 3 aces, Nicolle Renteria had 4 kills and 1 block, Sophie Gill added 7 receptions and 5 digs, and Barbara Lins had 6 receptions. The Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams traveled to Lakeland on Friday for Florida Runners Invitational. The Girls Team finished 5th and were led by Rachel Hodes (18th), Bella Smilowitz (20th), Anastasija Moskvina, Estella Dunham, Brooke Nieder, and Mallory McDonald.  The Boys Team finished 22nd and were led by Brady Lubetsky (time of 19:56), Davis Lubetsky, Ryan Mendelson, Josh LeHockey, and Carter McGaffic. The JV Boys led by Tyler Sastre, Nicholas Caceres, Ryder Rosenberg, and Shiwon Kang. On Saturday, in the Elite Race of Champions at Florida Runners, Lauren McGaffic finished 21st with a time of 19:37!
 
On Saturday.......The Boys Golf Team finished 5th out of 15 teams in the South Florida PGA Tournament in Boca Raton.  Matthew Yamin finished 3rd overall, Griffin Steutel shot a 2nd day total of 71, and Jaden Russell added an 81. The Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (5-10) beat Somerset Silver Palms 26-24, 25-27, 17-15, but lost to Florida Christian 25-23, 25-18, and lost to Carrollton 18-25, 27-25, 9-15. Against Carrollton, Tatiana Blasky had 13 assists, 4 digs, and 3 aces, Brisel Cabrera had 4 kills and 1 block, Sophie Gill had 18 receptions and 8 digs, and Chiara Moura had 4 kills. In game 2, Tatiana Blasky had 11 assists, 7 digs, and 3 aces, Sophie Gill added 16 receptions, 16 digs, and 2 kills, and Chiara Moura had 4 digs and 2 kills. Against Somerset, Tatiana Blasky had 12 assists, Nicolle Renteria added 7 assists, 5 kills, and 3 aces, Sophie Gill had 7 receptions and 5 digs, Nina Vara had 6 kills and 1 block, and Hailey Asseus had 5 aces and 3 kills.
 
Today......The Boys Golf Team participates in the Archbishop  McCarthy Tournament all day at Grand Palms Country Club, the Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball Teams host Pine Crest at 3:30/5pm, the Middle School (JV and Varsity) Volleyball Teams travel to Westminster Christian at 3:30/4:30pm, and the Boys and Girls Middle School Swim Teams host Ransom Everglades at 5:30pm.
 
On Wednesday.......the Girls Middle School (JV and Varsity) Volleyball Teams travel to Florida Christian at 3;30/4:30pm.
