In Wednesday’s Athletic Action.......The Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (4-4) beat Florida Christian 25-14, 25-15. Stella Cardillo Ramos led the way with 4 aces and 5 digs, Stella Krelstein had 3 aces, and Rachel Maloy added 2 kills and 1 dig. The Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (6-3) beat Florida Christian 25-13, 25-19. Isabella Possin led the way with 3 kills, 10 assists, and 7 digs, Ella Green had 3 kills and 1 dig, Daniela Gonzalez added 7 digs and 2 aces, and Katerina Dumas had 2 kills, 2 aces, and 3 digs). The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (3-2) beat Florida Christian 25-20, 25-18. Tatiana Blasky led the way with 8 assists, 3 aces, and 3 digs, Nina Vara had 4 kills, Chiara Moura added 5 digs, Barbara Lins had 7 digs, and Brisel Cabrera had 5 digs and 3 kills. The Varsity Volleyball Team (5-5) lost to Florida Christian in an exciting match 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 20-25, 14-16. Ashley Michelin led the way with 38 assists and 13 digs, Sophia Rosenberg had 15 kills, Francesca Malo added 25 receptions and 17 digs, Sasha Vaygensberg had 11 kills and 5 blocks, and Isabella Brod had 14 receptions, 14 digs, 6 kills, and 5 aces. The Boys Golf Team (4-2) lost to Archbishop McCarthy 151-156. Matt Yamin shot a 36 and Griffin Steutel added a 37.
Today.....The Girls and Boys Varsity Swim Teams host ATM and Miami Beach at 5:30pm (Livestreamed Event), the Boys and Girls Golf Teams host their final home match of the season against SLAM Academy at 3pm (Miami Shores Country Club), and the Varsity Football Team travels to Scheck Hillel in this week’s “Game of the Week” at 7pm. Hillel is located at 19000 NE 25th Avenue North Miami Beach, FL 33180.
On Friday......The Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams participate in the Pine Crest Invitational at 1:45/3:30/4:15pm, the Varsity Volleyball Team participates in the Chaminade Invitational at Archbishop McCarthy at 3/4/6pm, the Junior Varsity Volleyball Team participates in the Florida Christian Invitational at 7/8:15pm, and the Middle School (JV and Varsity) Volleyball Teams travel to Divine Savior at 4/5pm.
