Late Thursday…..The Boys Varsity Soccer Team tied Miami-Jackson High School in a pre-season game 2-2. Diego Oropeza Rodrigues and Matthew Collins each scored, Ethan White played well on defense, and Chris Capote played well in goal.

In Friday’s Athletic Action…..On Friday, November 9^th, the Girls and Boys Varsity Swim Teams traveled to University School to compete in the FHSAA Class 1A Region 4 Championships. The Boys Team finished the year tied with the highest place finish in school history (8^th of 24 teams), and the Girls finished 21^st of 23 teams.

On Saturday…… The Girls Cross Country Team competed at the FHSAA Cross Country State Finals in Tallahassee. The Girls finished in 6^th place, which was the best finish in program history. They were led by Lauren McGaffic (13^th place in 19:44 PR), Rachel Hodes (23^rd Place in 20:10), Brooke Nieder (21:25 PR), Bella Smilowitz (21:26), Senior Captain Isabella Allen (22:32), Cristina Hernandez, and Estella Dunham. Congrats to the girls and our coaches on an outstanding season.

In Today’s Events…..There are no meets, matches, or games scheduled for today.

On Tuesday, the Girls Varsity Soccer Team hosts Archbishop McCarthy in their season opener at 5pm, and the Boys Varsity Soccer Team hosts Hialeah Educational Academy at 7pm.
