In Monday’s Athletic Action…..……The Girls Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (14-2) beat Florida Christian 25-18, 25-10.  Mia Finvarb led the way with 5 aces, 2 kills, and 5 digs, Isabella Brod had 4 kills and 5 digs, and Sienna Rosenberg added 6 assists and 5 digs.  The Girls Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (9-3) beat Florida Christian 25-21, 25-20. Chiara Moura led the way with 4 aces, 4 kills, and 7 digs, Lucia Cartolano had 4 aces, 3 kills, and 5 digs, and Bianca Malatesta added 4 assists.  The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (8-5) lost to Divine Savior 25-23, 25-27, 12-15. Emma Zelkowitz led the way with 15 service points, 6 assists, and 7 digs, Simone Hart had 11 assists and 11 digs, and Arielle Germeus had 13 digs and 3 kills. The Varsity Volleyball Team (7-8) lost to Divine Savior 27-25, 25-9, 25-19.  Carolina Ortegon had 4 blocks and 3 kills, Sasha Vaygensberg added 6 blocks, Francesca Malo had 8 service receptions, 6 digs, 4 service points, and 2 assists, and Ashley Michelin had 17 assists, 6 service points, and 4 digs. The Girls (13-0) and the Boys (9-4) Cross Country Teams hosted a meet at Greynolds Park.  The girls finished 1st of 7 teams, and the boys finished 2nd of 7 teams.  The girls were led by Lauren McGaffic (finishing in a commanding 1st place), Rachel Hodes (4th), Bella Smilowitz (5th), Cristina Hernandez (9th), Estella Dunham (10th), Anastasija Moskvina (12th), Briana Espinosa (13th), and Isabella Allen (14th).  The boys were led by Carter McGaffic (7th), Cru Givens (11th), Davis Lubetsky (14th), Marcos Melado (15th), Josh LeHockey (19th),  Andrew Weaver (21st), and Julian Melado (22nd). The Girls Golf Team played Slam Academy.  Sabrina Cabarcos shot a 48.
 
Today……The Boys Golf Team competes in the Dade County Youth Fair all day, and the Girls and Boys Varsity Swim Teams host LaSalle and Doctors Charter at 5:15pm.
