Late Thursday……The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team (4-7) beat Miami Beach 8-4. Gaby Palmisano led the way with 12 saves and 3 steals, Patrizia Puppin had 4 goals and a steal, Rhiannen Reig added 2 goals and 3 steals, Isabella Stripling scored, Sofia Dieppa had 2 assists and 2 steals, and Chloe Cartledge added 3 steals. The Boys Varsity Water Polo Team (7-4) lost to Miami Beach 17-13. Ricardo Di Giuseppe made 12 saves, 2 steals, and an assist, Juan Martin Caro had 4 goals, Sebastian Rodriguez added 3 goals and 4 steals, Romeo Curcio had 2 goals, 3 assists, and 2 steals, Eric Bernstein had 2 goals and 2 steals, and Zachary Smith added 2 goals and 2 assists.
In Friday’s Athletic Action……The Softball Team (4-4) beat Somerset Central Miramar Academy 18-0. Michelle Yacobi recorded the win striking out 7, scored 3 runs, and drove in 2 runs, Logan Sennett hit a homerun, scored 2 runs, and had 3 RBI, Isabella Allen had 2 hits, an RBI, and 3 runs scored, Tatiana Barnes had 2 hits, an RBI, and scored 2 runs, and Alicia Kelly had a hit, an RBI, and scored 2 runs. The Girls Varsity Tennis Team (6-4) beat Palmer-Trinity 6-1. Julia Rose Siegler, Gabriela Martinez, Elizabeth Stone, and Mila Seikaly all won their singles matches, and Allexii and Gaby won their doubles match. The Boys Varsity Tennis Team (6-3) beat Palmer-Trinity 6-1. Milan Bass, Harrison Breslow, Jackson Halliwell, and Saavan Kamlani all won their singles matches, and Milan and Jackson, Evan Meiselman and Harrison won their doubles match. The Boys Middle School Tennis Team (7-0) beat Doral Academy 6-1. Max Castanon, Daniel Tzalik, Efe Deniz, and Luca Donayre won their singles matches and Oscar Goncalves and Vistor Destri, Cliff Halliwell and Zachary Freedman won their doubles matches. The Girls Middle School Tennis Team (5-3) beat Doral Academy 6-1. Brookie Kovacs, Scout Hudson, Nina Vara, Chaira Moura, and Remi Rosenfeld all won their singles matches, and Ginger Jacob and Ariana Clarke won their doubles match. The Middle School Baseball Team (1-7) lost to Riviera Prep 12-0. Dario Martin doubled for the Spartans. The Varsity Lacrosse Team (1-7) lost to Palmetto 15-12. Ryan Finvarb led the way with 5 goals, Evan Mendelson had 2 goals and 3 assists, Noah Reines added 2 goals and an assist, Zachary Hart and Marlon Robins each had a goal and an assist, Noah Markofsky scored, and Liam Weil and Alex Sayfie each played well.
On Saturday…..The Varsity Baseball Team (6-2) beat Doctors Charter 22-1. Griffin Steutel recorded the win and went 3 for 4 with a double and 4 RBI, Lee Iaslovits was 2 for 3 with 4 RBI, Kian Andersen was 2 for 2 with a triple and 3 RBI, and Zac Wyka, Eric Germeus, and Myles Berlowitz each had 2 hits. The Middle School (Varsity) Lacrosse Team (3-5-1) beat Westminster Christian 4-1. Rainen O’Kurley led the way with 13 saves, Daniel Estupinan and Mikey Port each had a goal and an assist, James Deering and Austin Eismont each scored, and Ben Malamed added an assist. The Middle School (JV) Lacrosse Team (5-3) beat Gulliver 6-3, but lost to Belen 8-6. In the Gulliver game, Evan Hurwitz led the way with 4 goals and an assist, Beck Trafton had 2 goals and an assist, Alex Mendelson added 3 assists, and Tristan Bradley, Joshua Harris, James Surnamer and Leon Oberto each played well. In the Belen game, Ryder Rosenberg led the way with a goal and 2 assists, Evan Hurwitz had a goal and an assist, Rachel Hodes, Beck Trafton, Alejandro Rodriguez, and Oliver Kozlovski all scored, Alex Mendelson added 2 goals, and Justin Claramonte made 13 saves.
Today…..The Varsity Baseball Team travels to Palmer-Trinity at 4pm, and the Middle School Water Polo Team travels to Riviera Prep at 4pm.
