In Thursday’s Athletic Events……The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (14-3-2) beat a very good Carrollton Team on “Senior Night” 4-2.  Senior Amanda Martin scored 2 goals, Mia Batista and Isabella Allen each added a goal, Seniors Ava Hansen and Danielle Geathers each played well, and Sofia Benenson was outstanding in goal.  The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (11-3-2) beat Marathon 6-1.  Khalil Winder and Diego Oropeza each scored 2 goals, Dylan Turk had a goal and an assist, Dre Medici added a goal, Liam Weil and Daniel Dieppa each played well on defense, and Alejandro Roye made 9 saves in his first game as goalkeeper. 
 
Today…..The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team travels to Gulliver at 6pm, Ransom Everglades plays Jacksonville Bolles in boys soccer on campus at 7pm, The Girls Varsity Basketball Team plays Hamilton Heights in Louisville, Kentucky at 7:30pm. 
 
On Saturday….The Boys Varsity Soccer Team hosts Jacksonville Bolles at 9am, and the Girls Varsity Basketball Team plays Mercer County in Louisville, Kentucky at 6pm.  .
 
Spring Sports
Please see the spring sports listed below for practice start dates and coaching information. All game schedules and directions to away games will be posted on the Miami Country Day School athletic website by the end of the week.
 
Prior to the first day of practice, all student-athletes must have a completed physical and all proper FHSAA paperwork (EL2 and EL3) uploaded electronically to Magnus Health, which is accessed from your ‘My Country Day Account.’ Any questions regarding the athletic forms can be directed to the Athletic Trainers:  Michelle Cordero at corderom@miamicountryday.org , or Anthony Reyes reyesa@miamicountryday.org ,or the athletic office at x250 for more information. 
 
Boys Varsity Baseball
