In Tuesday’s Athletic Events….The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (8-2-2) beat Hialeah Educational Academy 1-0. Dre Medici score the game’s lone goal, Ben Hug recorded the shutout, and Liam Weil played well. The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (11-3-2) beat an undefeated Miami Springs Team 3-1. Ava Hansen led the way with 2 goals, Amanda Martin scored, and Sofia Benenson played well in goal. The Girls Middle School Basketball Team (4-9) beat Gulliver 31-11. Rachel Hodes led the way with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals, Ella Gilderman had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists, Caitlin Cherenfant added 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 steals, Julia Green had 10 steals and 2 points, and Chloe Fong had 2 points and 2 steals. The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (5-5) lost to St. Andrews 52-39. Nate Outten led the way with 15 points and 11 rebounds, Evan Mendelson added 10 points, and Tristan Escalante had 9 points and 5 assists. The Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team (5-8) lost to Gulliver 50-35. TJ Mack led the way with 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Jasper Feldman added 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Boys Middle School (JV) Basketball Team (2-8) lost to Gulliver 52-11. Ryder Rosenberg led the way with 4 points, and Nicolas Margarit added 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

In Today’s Action….The Girls Middle School Soccer Team travels to Ransom Everglades at 4pm, the Boys Middle School Soccer Team hosts Ransom Everglades at 4pm (Livestreamed Event), and the Girls Middle School Basketball Team travels to Carrollton at 4pm.

On Thursday…….The Parents Association will be hosting their Winter BBQ on Thursday, January 11^th, starting at 3:30pm. Please come out and support your Spartans (3 basketball games at 4/5:30/7pm and 1 soccer match at 7pm) and our Parents Association.
