This year, we will be celebrating our 21st annual all-school community service event, Walk the Walk, from Saturday, April 11th through Saturday, April 17, 2021. The Walk the Walk is an annual student-led event to benefit cancer research. It normally takes place in the fall but with the MCDS community's safety in mind, we moved the event to the spring with hopes that we could be physically together as a community. We now know that this year's event will be VIRTUAL! We will still keep the tradition of increasing attention and support for cancer awareness through virtual activities. |

UpdateTo date, we have raised over $850,000 to benefit The Heidi Hewes Chapter of the University of Miami Woman's Cancer Association & The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. This year we will also be donating to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital while focusing on childhood cancer that has directly impacted our school community. In addition, we have pledged to donate 10% of funds raised at the Walk to the Spartan Relief Fund to support families of the Country Day community during these unpredictable times.
