A presentation and Q&A with three local experts in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
- What is resilience?
- What role does resilience play in mental health and wellness?
- How can parents and educators foster resilience?
- How do strategies for fostering resilience change as a child ages?
Dr. Nicholas Maccarrone is a Licensed Psychologist. In January 2017, Dr. Maccarrone was an award recipient by the Florida Psychological Association for Outstanding Contribution to Psychology in the Public Interest.
Dr. Kelly Painter is a Licensed Psychologist who completed her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University with an internship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Dr. Maria Pia del Castillo is a Clinical Psychology Post-Doctorate Resident at Pediatric Psychology Associates. She received a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her internship at AHRC New York City. Dr. del Castillo is a bilingual clinician in both Spanish and English.
