Nina Lardi ’22 received the prestigious designation of “honorable mention” in the Young Arts competition. This award is well-deserved, and a first for a student at Miami Country Day.
It gives the community great pleasure to announce that Nina Lardi ’22 received the prestigious designation of “honorable mention” in the Young Arts competition. As our Arts Director, Terry Alfonso noted: “this is like the Oscars for high school students,” and indeed, Nina competed against thousands of talented students across the country. Many of us have heard Nina sing the national anthem at school gatherings, like at our commemoration of the 20th anniversary of September 11.

Most of us have sat in awe during thespian showcases or the Upper School musical, witnessing Nina’s poise, her nuanced performances, and her gorgeous voice. This award is well-deserved, and a first for a student at Miami Country Day. When you see Nina, who is also our Arts Scholar, please congratulate her on this incredible recognition of her talent and her hard work.
