In Thursday’s Athletic Events.....The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (10-8-1) beat International Studies on “Senior Night” 6-3. Max Manhire led the way with a goal and an assist, Erik Pantin, Stefano Dumas, Rafael Urbina, Enzo Lagrassa-Gillet, and Ethan White all scored. The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (4-9) beat International Studies on “Senior Night” 12-0. Senior Taisa Strouse led the way with 3 goals, Senior Sofia Benenson scored 2 goals, Senior Becky Bibas added a goal and 2 assists, Lucia Arcila had 2 goals and an assist, Aly Rodriguez, Cristina Hernandez, Sofia Nelcha all had a goal and an assist, Mia Batista scored, and Natalia Pantin Escudero and Leah Ogulnick each had assists. The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (5-13) lost to Gulliver in the South Florida Middle School Conference Championships 6-0. Congratulations to the coaches and players on a great season.
Today......The Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams travel to Sagemont at 5:30/7pm, the Girls Middle School Basketball Team hosts Gulliver in the South Florida Middle School Conference Championships at 4pm, and the Boys Middle School (Varsity) BasketballTeam travels to Westminster Christian in the South Florida Middle School Conference Quarterfinals at 4pm.
On Saturday.....The Girls Middle School Basketball Team competes in the South Florida Middle School Championships at Ransom Everglades, the Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team participates in the South Florida Middle School Championships at Westminster Christian, and the Girls Varsity Basketball Team hosts Florida Prep in the annual “Senior Game” at 5pm.
