In Wednesday’s Athletic Events.....The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (9-7) beat Hillel 71-62. Jordan Cooke led the way with 17 points and 4 assists, Ryan Richardson had 16 points and 5 rebounds, Jasai Miles added 12 points and 17 rebounds, and Morgan Weisberg had 9 points. The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (12-3) beat Hillel 71-55.  Lukas Peterson led the way with 21 points, Torrence Mack had 18 points, and Dhillon Murphy added 10 points. The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (5-12) beat Florida Christian in the semifinals of the consolation bracket 2-0. Ariana Clarke scored both goals, Sara Bhakta had 2 assists, Maya Tafur recorded the shutout, and Maggie Houser, Senna Trafton, Brianna Dunn, Zoe Grondin, Sofia Sharam, and Maryam Rassif all played well. The Boys Middle School Soccer Team (12-5) lost to Gulliver in the South Florida Middle School Conference Semifinals 3-0.  Jhonny Mercado, Max Manhire, Greg Meyer, Diego Corigliano, and Henrique Markman all played well.  Congrats to the coaches and players on a great season.
 
Today.....The Girls Middle School Soccer Team participates in the South Florida Middle School Championships at Gulliver 4pm, and the Boys Varsity and Girls Varsity Soccer Teams host International Studies in their annual “Senior Games” at 5pm/7pm. Spartan Pride Games of the Week.....Please support our Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer Teams in our “Spartan Pride Games of the Week” on Thursday, January 23rd, vs. International Studies at 5/7pm, and Girls Varsity Basketball on Saturday, January 25th at 5pm vs. Florida Prep. Come out and cheer on our outstanding “Seniors” as they play their last regular season home game of the season. We hope to see everyone there and please wear read to show your Spartan Pride.
 
On Friday......The Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams travel to Sagemont at 5:30/7pm, the Girls Middle School Basketball Team hosts Gulliver in the South Florida Middle School Conference Championships at 4pm, and the Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team travels to Westminster Christian in the South Florida Middle School Conference Quarterfinals at 4pm.
