In Wednesday’s Athletic Action……The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (6-12) lost to Hillel 54-44. Nate Outten led the way with 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Jordan Cooke added 11 points.  The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (0-14) lost to Hillel 52-48.  Josh Finvarb led the way with 14 points, Jake Goldberg added 9 points, and Logan Traband had 8 points. 
 
There are no athletic events schedule for today.
 
On Friday…..The Girls Middle School Basketball Team hosts Westminster Christian in the South Florida Middle School Conference Quarterfinals at 4pm, the Boys Varsity Soccer Team hosts Pinecrest Prep Academy at 6pm, the Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams travel to Florida Christian at 6/7:30pm, and the Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team travels to Gulliver in the South Florida Middle School Conference Quarterfinals at 3pm
 
Girls Varsity Basketball:Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball Team and our coaches (Ochiel Swaby, Jackie Smith, Jenna Kochen, Christian Chancy, and Carlyle Lewis).  They are now the #1 ranked team in the country……
 
Winter Senior Games/Red Out: Please come out, pack the stands, wear RED, and support our seniors on the dates listed below:
(1)  Friday, February 1st , Girls Basketball vs. American Heritage (4:30pm)
(2)  Wednesday, February 6th, Boys Basketball vs. Westminster Christian (7:30pm)

Spartan Hall of Fame - The Miami Country Day School Alumni Association established the Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame to honor those individuals who have achieved a high level of success during their careers as student-athletes, coaches or through other significant accomplishments to the Miami Country Day School athletic program.
