Hackathon 2018!

Ever think about getting into programming? Want to learn about computers and how they work? Have an app or website idea but don't know where to start? This is the place to begin building your concept! The Hackathon finishes off of our week of "Hour of Code" events aimed at giving our school community a chance to learn to code. (See Code.org for more info!)
Students in grades 3 - 12, as well as adults, can come to the 5th annual Miami Country Day School Hackathon on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be food, snacks, drinks, and prizes for the best ideas created during the event. The first 50 people to register will receive a special Hackathon T-shirt.
Don't know how to code? No worries! Come and learn the basics of programming. Bring your interests and objectives and either a join a team or create your own.
