21 Hearts, 1 Beat Performs At PAMM

On November 7th, MCDS’s Contemporary Music Ensemble was invited to perform at the Peréz Art Museum. The event was for law makers across the United States who are responsible for counties with a population over one million to come together and discuss common issues such as affordable housing and school systems.
The Contemporary Music Ensemble, also known as 21 Hearts, 1 Beat, brought 15 students and played a set of 16 songs. The students, with guidance from John Wicker, were able to pick the songs they performed. To say the least, it was a beautiful evening filled with talented musicians. Guest were even dancing.
