In Thursday’s Athletic Action…..The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (6-1) beat the #1 team in the country, St. Johns High School (D.C.), 44-41. Koi Love led the way with 14 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks, Maria Alvarez had 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals, Milani McCormack added 6 points, Sydney Shaw had 5 points, Chantell Gonzalez added 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 blocks, and Jayda Theodule had 3 points and 3 rebounds.   The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (8-2-1) beat SLAM Academy 2-1.  Diego Oropeza Rodrigues scored both goals, and Anthony Cervone, Daniel Dieppa, Remy Cross, Naszir Mantilla, and Ethan White all played well.  The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (9-3-1) lost to Ransom Everglades 4-0.  Lauren White made 17 saves, and Chaya Hazan, Cristina Hernandez, Ariana Clarke, Maryam Rassif, Brisel Cabrera, and Gianna Murdocco all played well.  The Boys Middle School Soccer Team (8-4) lost to Ransom Everglades 7-0. 
 
Today….The Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams travel to Divine Savior at 6/7:30pm, and  the Girls Varsity Basketball Team participates in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix.


Late Friday….The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (7-1) beat New Hope Academy (Maryland) in the semifinals of the Tournament of Champions 61-60.  Maria Alvarez led the way with 22 points and 6 rebounds, Koi Love had 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 steals, Jayda Theodule added 7 points and 2 rebounds, Sydney Shaw had 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists, Chantell Gonzalez had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks, and Milani McCormick added 3 points and 2 assists.  The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (4-5) beat Divine Savior 65-53.  Jasai Miles led the way with 20 points and 14 rebounds, Nate Outten had 14 points and 8 rebounds, and Jordan Cooke added 13 points and 5 assists.  The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (0-9) lost to Divine Savior Academy 73-64.  Josh Finvarb led the way with 27 points and 4 steals, and Dhillon Murphy added 14 points and 7 rebounds.
 
On Saturday…….The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (8-1) won the Tournament of Champions by beating Windward (California) 52-51. Sydney Shaw led the way with 16 points, 2 steals, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds, Maria Alvarez had 15 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks, Koi Love added 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals, Jayda Theodule added 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, and Chantell Gonzalez had 2 points and 3 rebounds.  
 
Tomorrow……The Girls Varsity Basketball Team travels to Naples to play Holy Innocents (Georgia) at 4pm, and the Boys Varsity Basketball Team travels to LaSalle to play Champagnat at 6pm.
