In Wednesday’s Athletic Action……The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (12-1) beat LaSalle 4-1. Amanda Martin led the way with 2 goals and an assist, Laurel Ivory and Mia Batista each added a goal and an assist, and Danielle Geathers played well on defense. The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (2-3) beat Westminster Christian 68-55. Mick Lynott led the way with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, and Ibrahim Doumbia added 22 points and 17 rebounds. The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (0-3) lost to Westminster Christian 64-41. Connor Sazant led the way with 13 points. The BoysVarsity Soccer Team (5-4-1) lost to LaSalle 3-0. Diego Oropeza, Liam Weil, Owen Wesley, Nico Arriola, and Remy Cross all played well. The Girls Middle School BasketballTeam (4-2) lost to Ransom Everglades 33-14. Jordan Sheppard led the way with 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, D’Yani Gregoire added 5 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 assists, and Michelle Jacobo had 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The Boys MiddleSchool (Varsity) Basketball Team (1-6) lost to Ransom Everglades 45-24. Ryan Mendelson led the way with 10 points, Jovan Joseph added 4 points, 5 assists, and 16 rebounds, Jasper Feldman had 3 points, and Eric Germeus had 4 steals and 3 rebounds. The Boys Middle School (JV) Basketball Team (0-4) lost to Ransom Everglades 51-36. Torrence Mack led the way with 13 points, Blake Batchelder had 10 points and 4 steals, and Logan Traband added 6 points.
In Today’s Events……The Girls Middle School Soccer Team hosts Westminster Christian at 3:30pm (Game of the Week), the Boys Middle School Soccer Team travels to Westminster Christian (Lakes by the Bay Park) at 3:30pm, the Boys Varsity Soccer Team travels to Divine Savior (Doral Meadow Park) at 3:30pm, the Boys Junior Varsity and Girls Varsity Basketball Teams travel to Somerset Central Miramar Academy at 3:30/5pm, and the Boys Varsity Basketball Team plays Royal Palm Beach at 3:40pm in the American Airlines Arena.
On Friday……The Boys Middle School (JV and Varsity) Basketball Teams host Cushman at 3:30/4:30pm, and the Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity Basketball Teams host South Broward High School at 6/7:30pm.
