In Wednesday’s Athletic Action……The Varsity Volleyball Team (9-7) beat district-rival Sagemont in an exciting 5-set match 29-27, 15-25, 27-25, 22-25, 16-14. Sasha Jenkins led the way with 3 kills, 23 assists, 2 blocks, and 14 digs, Sofia Nores had 8 kills and 10 digs, Nyasia John added 5 kills and 3 blocks, Indira Dandridge had 7 kills, 7 blocks, and 2 digs, and Chiara Settineri added 2 assists and 13 digs. The Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (14-0) remained undefeated by beating Sagemont 25-12, 25-5. Johanna Degori led the way with 9 aces and 3 kills, Andrea Pantin had 6 aces and 3 kills, Sophia Rosenberg added 7 aces, and Maya Leoni had 4 aces and 2 kills. The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (13-2) beat Sagemont 25-6, 2509. Sophia Dieppa led the way with 15 service points, 5 aces, and 4 kills, Amaris Rios had 3 aces and 3 kills, and Ananda naves added 7 assists.
