In Wednesday's Athletic Events......The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (7-4-1) beat Westminster Christian 9-1. Mia Batista led the way with 3 goals and 2 assists, Becky Bibas had 2 goals and 2 assists, Taisa Strouse added 2 goals and 3 assists, Sofia Nelcha had a goal and 2 assists, Sabrina Cabarcos added a goal, and Andrea Nelcha made 5 saves. The Girls Middle School Basketball Team (10-0) beat Gulliver 38-6. Milani McCormick led the way with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals, Jordan Fishman added 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, Rianna Washington had 8 points, and Sydney Shaw had 3 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 10 assists. The Boys Middle School (JV) Basketball Team (4-3) beat Gulliver 35-32. Dylan Goureau had 14 points, Josh Finvarb added 10 points, Frantz Blanc had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks, Connor Batchelder added 5 steals, and Jack Russakoff had 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team (1-7) lost to Gulliver 47-12. Noah Markofsky led the way with 4 points and 9 rebounds.
In Today's Action......The Girls Varsity Soccer Team hosts Palm Beach Benjamin in the "Varsity game of the week." at 5pm.
On Friday.......The Girls and Boys Middle School Soccer Teams host Gulliver at 3:30/5pm, the Girls Varsity Soccer Team travels to Archbishop McCarthy at 5pm, the Girls Varsity Basketball Team participates in the Tina Thompson Classic in Washington D.C., and the Boys Varsity Basketball Team participates in the Bojangles Classic in Columbia, South Carolina.
In Saturday's Events....The Boys Middle School (JV and Varsity) Basketball Teams will participate in the Spartan Invitational starting at 9am, the Boys Middle School Soccer Team hosts the Nicholas Potts Memor1al Invitational at 9am, the Girls Varsity Basketball Team participates in the Tina Thompson Classic in Washington D.C., and the Boys Varsity Basketball Team participates in the Bojangles Classic in Columbia, South Carolina.
