This summer, take a journey through the heart of Europe as we unveil Boho2Baroque, a GATEway experience like no other. As we continue to redefine global learning, we invite MCDS Spartans to immerse themselves in the old-world charm and modern vibrancy of Prague and Vienna: two cities that together capture the very essence of art, music, architecture, and innovation across centuries.

During our 4-week academic and cultural adventure, GATEmates will spend two weeks in Prague, the “City of a Hundred Spires,” exploring its cobblestone streets, Gothic cathedrals, and centuries of Bohemian creativity. From Kafka’s literary legacy to the breathtaking views atop Prague Castle, students will experience how history and imagination intertwine to shape a city that continues to inspire the world.

Then it’s on to Vienna, where the elegance of the Baroque era meets the pulse of a modern European capital. Here, our GATEmates will discover the art of café culture, the genius of Mozart and Klimt, and the imperial grandeur of palaces and concert halls that still echo with brilliance.

Whether they’re tracing the evolution of European art and music, studying architecture that bridges the medieval and modern, or simply finding inspiration in a Viennese waltz, students will embrace what it means to be active global citizens in a living classroom. GATEway Boho2Baroque: come explore the beauty, rhythm, and wonder of two cities that changed the world.

Class of 2031, your next adventure awaits! This year’s G8way will bring our 8th graders to Buenos Aires, Argentina—a city full of character, culture, and energy. From its European-inspired architecture to its lively streets, Buenos Aires offers the perfect setting for exploration and discovery. The journey begins on November 18, 2026, as we depart Miami on an overnight flight to Argentina’s capital. Throughout the trip, students will engage with the city’s history, arts, and local traditions. It’s a week designed not just to see a new place, but to experience it in a meaningful and memorable way.
