On Thursday......The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (22-6) beat Somerset Central Academy in the Regional Quarterfinals 93-9. Channise Lewis led the way with 17 points, 8 assists, and 5 steals, Marsha Edwards had 16 points and 4 rebounds, Kelsey Marshall added 14 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals, Samantha Provezano had 14 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds, and Maria Alvarez had 10 points, 10 assists, and 6 steals. The Varsity Lacrosse Team participated in Pre-Season games at University School. In game one, they beat Archbishop McCarthy 7-6. Sean Fuller led the way with 2 goals, Blaise Pronesti added a goal and an assist, Ryan Finvarb, Tyler Grosman, Zachary hart, and Owen Wesley all scored, Matthew Barron had 2 assists, Alex Sayfie added an assist, Carlos Ortega played well in goal, and Ian Spence played well on defense. In game 2, they lost to University School 7-4. Tyler Grosman and Ryan Finvarb each had a goal and an assist Maximo Eriksson and Sean Fuller each scored, Alex Sayfie added an assist, and Corso Luciano, Arthur Cohen, and Matthew Hanson all played well on defense. The Varsity Baseball Team lost in a Pre-Season game to Krop 10-2.
Today.....the Boys and Girls Water Polo Teams host a Pre-Season Tournament (Girls - Hialeah vs. ATM at 3pm, Boys - Hialeah vs. ATM at 4pm, Girls - MCDS vs. Krop at 5pm, Boys - MCDS vs. Krop at 6pm).
In Saturday's Events....The Boys Varsity Basketball Team will play SLAM in the District Championship at Hillel at 8:30pm, and the Boys and Girls Water Polo Teams host a Pre-Season Tournament (Girls - Hialeah vs. Krop at 12pm, Boys - Hialeah vs. Krop at 1pm, Girls - MCDS vs. ATM at 2pm, Boys - MCDS vs. ATM at 3pm).
