The Spartan Impact Fund is Miami Country Day School’s annual giving program—and an investment in possibility. Unrestricted gifts give MCDS the flexibility to respond to needs and opportunities across the School, supporting our students, educators, programs, and the experiences that shape life at Country Day.
In 2025–26, our community came together to raise more than $3 million from 420 donors, surpassing our $2.5 million goal by 20%. That generosity supported priorities across campus, from professional development for faculty and enriching student opportunities to enhancements to spaces including Smurfit Hall and the cafeteria. As we move forward, participation remains at the heart of the Spartan Impact Fund. Every gift, at every level, reflects a shared commitment to our students, our educators, and the future of MCDS.

Creating What Comes Next, Together
Every major step forward at Miami Country Day School has been made possible by a community willing to come together around a bold idea.
The Build the Legacy Campaign continues that tradition, investing in spaces that elevate the experience of MCDS students and educators. The first phase brought the Woodhouse Athletic Center to life. The next phase turns our attention to a new Upper School—an ambitious project designed to reflect the growth and aspirations of our School.
This moment builds on a history of collective action. Previous generations of MCDS families came together to support projects including the Center for the Arts and the Franco Center, creating spaces that have had a lasting impact on our campus and academic program.
Now, our community has another opportunity to shape what comes next.
The new Upper School represents more than a new facility. It is an investment in the students and educators who will learn, teach, connect, and grow there—and in the future of Miami Country Day School.

Miami Country Day School is committed to being good stewards of all of its resources. Each year the Office of Advancement recognizes the generosity of our community through our annual Donor Report. This report celebrates the donors whose support strengthens our mission and shares stories that illustrate the meaningful impact of philanthropy across our school. In addition, every year the school undergoes an annual audit conducted by an outside firm and those reports are available upon request.
