In Friday’s Athletic Events.....The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (17-7) beat Benjamin to win the Palm League Championship 59-16. Kayla Nelms led the way with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks, Kristina Godfrey had 13 points, 10 rebounds, 7 steals, and 5 assists. and Jalynn Belton added 13 points and 6 rebounds. The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (7-7) beat Mater Lakes Academy in the season finale 57-54. Matthew Finvarb led the way with 13 points, Alex Mendelson had 12 points, Alec Miller added 10 points including the game winner, and Ryder Rosenberg had 10 points. The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (12-8) lost to Mater Lakes Academy 79-65. Shon Abaev led the way with 22 points and 3 rebounds, and Jasai Miles had 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.

 

On Saturday.....The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (17-8) lost Charlotte High School in their regular season finale 58-56. Kayla Nelms led the way with 26 points and 13 rebounds, Kristina Godfrey had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals, and Jada Johnson added 12 points and 2 assists.

 

Today.....The Boys Varsity Basketball Team hosts Sagemont at 7:30pm, the Girls Varsity Soccer Team hosts Divine Savior Academy in the District Semifinals at 7pm, and the Boys Varsity Water Polo Team travels to Ransom Everglades at 4:30pm.

On Tuesday......The Boys Varsity Soccer Team travels to LaSalle to play SLAM Academy in the District Semifinals at 5pm.
