In Tuesday’s Athletic Action.....The Girls Varsity Tennis Team (0-1) lost to Carrollton 5-2. Brooke Kovacs won her singles match and Brooke and Nina Vara won their doubles match. The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team (0-1) lost to Gulliver 18-5. Tatiana Blasky and Sabrina Morata each led the way with 2 goals, Chloe Cartledge added a goal and 3 steals, Carolina Ortegon and Zeina Bazzi each had assists, and Sophia Guarini made 5 saves. The Boys Varsity Water Polo Team (0-1) lost to Gulliver 15-3. Riccardo Di Giuseppe had a goal, a steal, and made 3 saves, Michael Bernstein had a goal, a steal, and 2 assists, Kenneth Barrett added a goal and 2 steals, and Justin Claramonte made 9 saves.
Today......The Boys and Girls Middle School Cross Country Teams host a meet at Greynolds Park at 4:15pm, the Boys Varsity Basketball Team plays Hialeah Educational Academy at SLAM Academy in the District Semifinals at 5pm.
On Thursday.....The Girls Varsity Basketball Team hosts Marathon in the Regional Quarterfinals at 7pm, the Boys Middle School (JV and Varsity) Basketball Teams travel to Palmer-Trinity at 5/6pm, the Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams travel to Palmer-Trinity at 3:30pm, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team participates in a pre-season tournament at Calvary Christian at 5/6:15pm, and the Boys and Girls Varsity Tennis Teams host Benjamin at North Miami Beach Tennis Center in their annual “Senior Match” at 3pm.
