Spartan Cup Business Challenge

2019 Spartan Cup Business Challenge was another year of success and creativity!
Miami Country Day hosted the seventh annual Spartan Cup Business Challenge on December 10th. The Spartan Cup is a part of Country Day’s Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Program, a one-on-one mentoring program. It is designed to inspire, empower, and encourage students to take their ideas, products, and businesses to the next level. Eight Upper School teams competed in Tuesday’s “Shark Tank” competition where they presented their businesses to a panel of judges.

Shaina B., Class of 2020, won first place for her business pitch, “Hair Envy,” a new booking application for hair salons. Rumiano M. and Riccardo M., 9th Grade, took second place for their invention, NineBallWheelz, and the third-place team consisted of Kate R., Class of 2020, and Arya C., Class of 2021, for the creation, “PM Parties.” Congratulations to the eight teams and a special thanks to the Spartan Cup judges for their time and expertise.
