In Saturday’s Athletic Action....The Girls Middle School Basketball Team (4-0) won the Spartan Invitational. In game 1, they beat University School 33-16. Jada Johnson led the way with 15 points, 6 steals, and 3 assists, Kaliyah Morales had 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists, and Ella Gilderman added 6 points and 4 rebounds. In game 2, they beat Florida Christian 41-20. Kaliyah Morales had 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals, Jada Johnson added 16 points, 9 steals, and 3 rebounds, and Ella Gilderman had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals. In game 3, the girls beat Divine Savior 45-7. Kaliyah Morales led the way with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 assists, and Ella Gilderman added 16 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists. In the championship game,  they beat University School 38-13. Kaliyah Morales had 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, Ella Gilderman added 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 steals, and Jada Johnson had 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals. The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (2-3) lost to Lakeland Christian 2-0.  Pedro Levi, Michael Puglise, and Ethan White all played well. The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (2-6) hosted the Spartan Invitational. In game 1, they lost to Divine Savior 1-0. Maya Tafur made 4 saves. In game 2, they beat Florida Christian 3-0. Ariana Clarke led the way with 2 goals, Senna Trafton added a goal, Maya Tafur made 3 saves, and Maryam Rassif had an assist. In game 3, the girls beat Marathon 2-0.  Ariana Clarke had a goal and an assist, Sara Bhakta scored, and Maya Tafur made 2 saves. In the championship game, the girls lost to Divine Savior 2-1 in penalty kicks. Senna Trafton scored to put the game into penalty kicks, and Maya Tafur made 6 saves.
 
On Monday......The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (3-3) beat Booker T. Washington 2-1.  Pedro Levi scored the game-winner with 10 minutes left, Lucas Hansen scored, and Julian Kahan and Ethan White each played well.  The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (1-4) beat Booker T. Washington 6-0. Annabelle Shiff led the way with 4 goals, Becky Bibas and Cristina Hernandez each scored, and Lauren White recorded the shutout in goal. The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (1-0) beat Edison High School 96-67. Jordan Cooke led the way with 40 points and 3 rebounds, Jasai Miles had 27 points and 12 rebounds, and Marc Wendrow added 11 points and 6 assists. The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (1-0) beat Edison 59-42. Dhillon Murphy led the way with 17 points and 8 rebounds, Lukas Peterson had 15 points and 8 rebounds, and Jonathan Auguste added 7 points and 14 rebounds. The Boys Middle School Soccer Team (3-2) beat Florida Christian 5-0. Jhonny Mercado led the way with 2 goals, Max Manhire had a goal and an assist, Dylan Meyer and Aquiles Oberto each scored, Sebastian Santos and Vadim Gataullin each had assists, and Phillip Wigoda, Matthew Castro, Pedro Henrique Pereira, and Brady Lubetsky all played well. The Girls Middle School Basketball Team (5-0) beat Ransom Everglades 38-18. Jada Johnson led the way with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals, Kaliyah Morales had 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists, Ella Gilderman added 2 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists, and Alexia Peristeris had 2 points and 1 rebound. The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (2-7) lost to Florida Christian 1-0. Maya Tafur made 5 saves, and Maryam Rassif, Senna Trafton, Maggie Houser, Briana Dunn, Sofia Sharam, and Tyra Cooper-Williams all played well. The Boys Middle School (JV) Basketball Team (0-1) lost to Ransom Everglades 35-13. Julian Erez led the way with 6 points, and Carson Goodman added 3 points. The Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team (0-1) lost to Ransom Everglades 40-25. Matthew Finvarb led the way with 8 points, Adrian Atoa had 6 points, Joshua Harris added 5 points and 6 rebounds, and Nicolas Margarit had 4 points.
 
 
Today......The Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams travel to Hebrew Academy a6 6/7:30pm, and the Boys Middle School (JV and Varsity) Basketball Teams host True North Classical Academy at 4/5pm.
 
Fall Sports Awards Ceremony.......Our Fall Sports Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, December 4, at 6:30pm. This ceremony should only last about 30-45 minutes, so please join us in celebrating the outstanding accomplishments our of Fall student-athletes and coaches.
