There are no athletic games, meets, or matches schedule for today.
On Wednesday......The Boys Varsity Soccer Team hosts Pre-season games.......LaSalle plays Miami-Jackson High School at 4pm, and the Spartans host Coral Shores at 6pm.
Fall Sports Awards Ceremony: Our Fall Sports Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, December 4, at 6:30pm. This ceremony should only last about 30-45 minutes, so please join us in celebrating the outstanding accomplishments our of Fall student-athletes and coaches.
New York Marathon......Congratulations to Caryn Lubetsky, Parents’ Association President and cross country coach, and Kerry Gruson for competing in the New York Marathon on Sunday and “unofficially” setting the world record for the fastest marathon run by a woman while pushing a wheelchair. Both were featured on Good Morning America this morning (see link below). Congrats Caryn and Kerry.....we are proud of you.
Spartan Hall of Fame “Class of 2021”- The Miami Country Day School Alumni Association established the Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame to honor those individuals who have achieved a high level of success during their careers as student-athletes, coaches or through other significant accomplishments to the Miami Country Day School athletic program. Its purpose is to perpetuate the memory of those who have brought distinction, honor and excellence to Miami Country Day School.
