In Friday’s Athletic Events.....The Boys Golf Team placed 4th in the Palm League Conference Championships with a 320.  Matt Yamin finished in 3rd place with a 72, and Griffin Steutel added a 76.  On the girls side, Sabrina Cabarcos shot a 94. The Girls Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (3-0) participated in the Florida Christian Invitational and beat the Ransom (JV) 25-18, 25-23, and Gulliver 25-5, 25-11.  In game 1, Lucia Cartolano led the way with 3 kills and an ace, Isabella Possin added 15 assists, 9 aces, and 3 digs, and Tiana Tolles had 4 kills and 4 digs. In game 2, Mia Finvarb had 2 kills and 5 aces, Sienna Rosenberg added 2 kills and 11 assists, and Daniela Gonzalez had 6 aces and 3 digs. The Varsity Volleyball Team (2-2) lost to Kings Academy 25-16, 25-10, but beat Monarch High School 25-22, 25-17.   In game 1, Sasha Vaygensberg led the way with 5 kills, Ashley Michelin had 10 assists, Francesca Malo added 6 digs, Brianna Lewin had 10 digs, and Isabella Brod had 4 digs and 2 kills.  In game 2, Ashley Michelin had 16 assists, Sasha Vaygensberg added 6 kills, Francesca Malo had 68 digs, Isabella Brod had 7 digs, and Sophia Rosenberg added 4 kills and 2 digs.
 
On Saturday.......The Girls Varsity Volleyball Team (3-3) lost to Westminster Academy 25-20, 25-23, but beat SLAM Academy 25-11, 25-18. In game 1, Ashley Michelin led the way with 12 assists and 5 digs, Carolina Ortegon had 4 kills and 4 digs, Isabella Brod added 6 digs and a kill, and Rianna Washington had 4 kills and a block. In game 2, Simone Hart had 8 assists, 2 digs, and a kill, Sophia Rosenberg added 7 kills and 3 digs, and Jia Garcia had 3 digs.  Also, congratulations to Sasha Vaygenberg who made the North Broward Prep Invitational all-tournament team. The Girls Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (3-2) lost to Divine Savior Academy 25-21, 18-25, 15-17, and lost to Carrollton 25-19, 21-25, 12-15. In game 1, Tiana Tolles had 6 kills and 5 aces, Sophia Arcila added 8 digs, and Isabella Possin had 5 aces and 4 assists.  In game 2, Sienna Rosenberg had 7 aces and 3 assists, Mia Finvarb added 4 kills and 4 aces, and Tiana Tolles had 5 kills and 2 aces. The Girls Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (3-2) beat Cushman 25-9, 25-12, beat Riviera Prep 25-15, 25-17, but lost to Sagemont 25-10, 25-17, and 26-24, 25-15. In game 1, Laura De Wilde had 4 kills, 3 aces, and 2 assists, Rachel Maloy added 2 kills and 6 aces, and Arabella Gutchess had 6 aces. In game 2, Arabella Gutchess had 9 service points, 4 aces, and 3 kills, Laura De Wilde added 9 service points, 4 aces, and 5 assists, and Stella Cardillo Ramos had 15 service points, 3 aces, and 4 kills. Against Sagemont, Bianca Malatesta had 7 service points, 4 assists, and 3 kills, Stella Cardillo Ramos added 2 kills, 7 service points, and 4 aces, and Colette Perazzo played well. The Girls Varsity Cross Country Team had finishing 5th in the Kings Academy Invitational and were led by Rachel Hodes (14), Isabella Smilowitz, Cristina Hernandez, Isabella Galofre, Estella Dunham and Briana Espinosa. The JV Girls were led by Taisa Strouse (13th), Maria Silva (22nd).  The Boys Varsity Cross Country Team finished 4th overall and were led by Carter McGaffic (7th), Ryan Mendelson (10th), Brady Lubetsky, Benjamin Kaplan, Josh Ader, Jaxson Cooper, and Josh LeHockey. The JV Boys finished 5th and were led by Tyler Sastre (17th), Ryder Rosenberg, Joaquin Ortiz, Raffaello Bruni, and Shiwon Kang.  The Girls and Boys Middle School Swim Teams hosted the Spartan Invitational.  The Girls and Boys Teams each finished 4th.

Today........... The Middle School (JV and Varsity), Junior Varsity, and Varsity Volleyball Teams travel to Carrollton at 3:30/4:30/6/7:30pm, and the Girls Golf Team hosts Divine Savior at the Miami Shores Country Club at 3pm.
 
On Tuesday......The Boys and Girls Varsity Swim Teams travel to Ransom Everglades at 4pm, and the Boys Golf Team travels to Westminster Christian (Biltmore Country Club) at 4pm.
