During the week of March 11-15, 77 4th graders have navigated the world of international diplomacy during the World Peace Games with 5 facilitators including World Peace Game founder, John Hunter. They are resolving complex global topics like border disputes, prisoners of war, refugee crises, nuclear disarmament, and more.
As they take on key roles in negotiating resolutions while representing international organizations like the World Bank and the United Nations, and nation teams, they are also beginning to understand the unintended consequences of their actions.
They are guided by the following questions:
1) Can I afford it? 2) Does it make sense? 3) Can I live with the consequences?
