Ellie’s Army Foundation: A special event is coming up on Sunday, January 20! Ellie’s Army Foundation is hosting a “Dirty Socks 5K & Walkathon” at 8 a.m. at Aventura Circle. I invite all of you to join the Miami Country Day School team to walk and support Ellie’s Army Upper School Club (President is Alicia Rodriguez ’20), The Levy Family and Ellie’s Army Foundation. Many of you knew Ellie ’09 – an amazing warrior who battled cystic fibrosis and is continuing to make a difference every day for children battling life-threatening illnesses. She may be gone, but her legacy lives on! The Foundation is hosting a walk for the first time in many years – the walk begins at 8:15 am and is followed by family fun with food trucks, music and kids’ activities. Register here and join the Miami Country Day School team:

When it asks “Do you want to join or create a team”, choose “Join a team”, then choose “Miami Country Day School”.

Thank you for considering participating in the walk and supporting the Foundation! Read more below about why it’s called the “Dirty Socks 5k” and click here to read about Ellie and the Ellie’s Army Foundation. If you cannot be at the walk but would like to support the Foundation, click here.
