In Tuesday’s Action……The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (15-1) beat Schoolhouse Prep 63-28.  Maria Alvarez led the way with 18 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, Chantel Gonzalez had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks, and Rachel Kaiser added 8 points and 3 rebounds.  The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (9-2-1) beat Coral Springs Charter 4-0.  Erik Pantin led the way with 2 goals and an assist, Diego Oropeza Rodrigues had a goal and an assist, Pedro Levi added an assist, Michael Mcpherson recorded the shutout, and Alejandro Roye Frangie, Ethan White, and Gerando Andres Pantin Escudero all played well.  The Girls Middle School Basketball Team (10-2) beat University School 36-9.  Ella Gilderman led the way with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 steals, Jada Johnson had 14 points, 5 rebounds, 9 steals, and 4 assists, Sophia Frank had 4 points, and Julia Green added 2 points and 2 steals.  The Boys Middle School (JV) Basketball Team (1-6) lost to University School.  Avery Sinnes grabbed 4 rebounds and Tanner Sennett had 3 rebounds.  The Boys Middle School (Varsity) Basketball Team (3-8) lost to University School 41-16.  Tristan Bradley led the way with 8 points and 7 rebounds, Alex Mendelson had 3 points, Artyom Trukhachev and Hendrix Lee each added 2 points, and Josh Harris grabbed 6 rebounds. 
 
Today…….The Girls Varsity Soccer Team hosts Palmer-Trinity at 4pm, and the Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams host Miami Beach High at 6/7:30pm.

Spartan Hall of Fame - The Miami Country Day School Alumni Association established the Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame to honor those individuals who have achieved a high level of success during their careers as student-athletes, coaches or through other significant accomplishments to the Miami Country Day School athletic program. Spring Sports: Please see the spring sports listed below for practice start dates and coaching information.  All game schedules and directions to away games are posted on the Miami Country Day School athletic website. 
Prior to the first day of practice, all student-athletes must have a completed physical and all proper FHSAA paperwork (EL2 and EL3) uploaded electronically to Magnus Health, which is accessed from your ‘My Country Day Account.’ Any questions regarding the athletic forms can be directed to the Athletic Trainers:  Michelle Cordero at corderom@miamicountryday.org , or Anthony Reyes reyesa@miamicountryday.org ,or the athletic office at x250 for more information.
