In Tuesday’s Athletic Events…..Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball Team (15-11).  They beat Westminster Academy in the Regional Semi-finals 17-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-22.  Ashley Michelin led the way with 22 assists, 11 service points, 3 aces, and 7 digs, Taylor Lynott had 14 service points, 4 aces, 8 kills, 5 digs, and 4 blocks, Francesca Malo added 15 digs, 11 receptions, 5 service points, 2 aces, and 3 assists, Rianna Washington had 8 kills and 5 blocks, and Carolina Ortegon had 10 kills and 2 blocks. The girls will host The Benjamin School in the Regional Finals on Tuesday (10/30) at 7pm.  Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country Team.  They won their 4^th consecutive District Championship and have qualified for Regionals next Tuesday at South Community Regional Park.  Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country Team.  They finished 2^nd in Regionals and have qualified for Regionals next Tuesday at South Community Regional Park.  The girls were led by Lauren McGaffic (finishing as the 3-time District Champion), Rachel Hodes (2^nd  with a PR of 21:04), Bella Smilowitz (3^rd PR 21:42), Brooke Nieder (5^th), Cristina Hernandez (6^th), Anastasija Moskvina (7^th), Isabella Allen (8^th), Estella Dunham (9^th), Briana Espinosa (11^th), and Klara Meyer (17^th).  The boys were led by Carter McGaffic (4^th place with a PR of 19:18), Marcos Melado (PR 20:54), Cru Givens (PR 20:59), Josef Frenkel (PR 21:19), Josh LeHockey (PR 21:25), Davis Lubetsky (PR 21:31), and Josh Ader (PR 22:07).
