Late Tuesday…..The Girls Middle School Swim Team (2-3) lost to Gulliver 120-106, and the Boys Middle School Swim Team (1-3) lost to Gulliver 142-88.

The Spartans were led by

Hannah Webb (6) – 1^st in the 100 Free & 50 Back

Felipe Blaya (8) – 1^st in the 50 Free & 50 Breast

Sidney Lydecker (8) – 1^st in the 50 Fly and 3^rd in the 200 Free

Evan Hurwitz (8) – 2^nd in the 50 Free & 100 Free

Aarin Singh (6) – 2^nd 50 Back

Gwyenth Goldstein (6) – 2^nd 50 Breast

Wednesday……There were no athletic events scheduled.

In Today’s action….the Varsity Volleyball Team travels to Sagemont to play in the District Championship at 7pm, the Boys and Girls Varsity Swim Team hosts Hialeah Educational Academy, Cushman, South Florida Heat, and SLAM Academy at 5:30pm, and the Varsity Football Team hosts Florida Christian in our Homecoming Football game at 7pm.

Homecoming Football Game/Parents’ Association BBQ…….. Come show your Spartan Spirit and Pride as we celebrate Homecoming and honor our senior athletes at the MCDS Homecoming game this evening. The game begins at 7pm, but join the Parents’ Association for tailgate fun and a community BBQ from 4pm- 9pm. Spartan fan gear will be for sale, so come join us for this community wide event and cheer your Spartans on to victory!

WALK THE WALK…….. Please join us on Saturday, October 20^th for our MCDS WALK THE WALK. The largest all school community service.
