In Thursday’s Athletic Action…..The Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (16-5) beat Gulliver in their season-finale 25-14, 25-8. Chiara Moura led the way with 9 aces and 3 kills, Lucia Cartolano had 6 aces and 3 kills, Tatiana Blasky added 4 assists, and Laura De Wilde had 3 assists. The Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (18-3) beat Gulliver 26-24, 25-8. Tiana Tolles led the way with 6 aces and 2 kills, Bella Brod had 5 aces and 2 kills, Sienna Rosenberg added 4 aces and 6 assists, and Isabella Urbina had 3 kills. The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (12-6) beat Gulliver 25-17, 25-20. Emma Zelkowitz led the way with 12 service points, 3 kills, 4 assists, and 6 digs, Simone hart had 6 service points, 8 assists, and 8 digs, and Sophie Gill added 6 service points and 11 digs. The Varsity Volleyball Team (10-10) lost to Kings Academy 27-25, 25-17, but beat FAU 25-16, 27-25. In game 1, Ashley Michelin led the way with 20 assists, 6 digs, and 3 service points, Sophia Rosenberg had 6 service points, 2 aces, and 3 kills, Rianna Washington added 7 kills, 3 blocks, and 2 digs, and Francesca Malo had 9 receptions, 8 service points, and 3 aces. In game 2, Sophia Rosenberg led the way with 5 kills, 3 service points, and 3 aces, Ashley Michelin had 13 assists, 6 service points, and 2 aces, Francesca Malo added 7 receptions, 4 service points, and 3 digs, Madeline Sukhdeo had 13 receptions and 4 digs, and Eva Sirlin had 7 receptions and 4 digs. The Varsity Football Team (2-2) lost to Pinecrest Prep Academy 15-7. Daniel Dieppa scored on an 18 yard run and Noah Markofsky made 10 tackles and 84 yards rushing. The results of the Varsity Swimming meet will be in Monday’s update.

Today……The Cross Country Team participates in the 305 Classic at Larry Penny Thompson Park at 3:30–Girls JV/4:15-Boys JV/4:50-Girls Varsity/5:30pm–Boys Varsity, the Varsity Volleyball Team travels to North Broward Prep at 5/6:30pm, the Golf Team hosts SLAM and Divine Savior at 3pm (Miami Shores Country Club), and the Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team participates in the South Florida Middle School Conference Championships at Divine Savior at 5pm.

On Saturday….The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team hosts LaSalle, Florida Christian, and Palmer-Trinity in the Spartan Invitational beginning at 9am, the Girls Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team participates in the South Florida Middle School Conference Championships at Divine Savior at 9am, and the Varsity Football Team travels to Feeding South Florida for their Community Service project at 1:30pm.
