In Friday’s Athletic Action…..The Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams ran the Junior Orange Bowl Invitational at Larry Penny Thompson Park. The Girls Varsity finished in 8^th place and were led by Bella Smilowitz, Cristina Hernandez, Brooke Nieder, Bella Allen, Briana Espinosa, Anastasija Moskvina, and Taisa Strouse.  The Varsity B Girls team finished 8^th Place in the Open Race and were led Mallory McDonald, Ebba Larnholt, Sofia Cabarcos, Maria Silva, and Jordan Horn.  In the JV Race the Girls finished 6^th and were led Jacqueline Ludicke, Mary Hanson, Mariana Antonaccio, Madelyn McDonald, and Sammy Long.  The Boys Varsity finished 17^th overall and were led by Carter McGaffic, Josh LeHockey, Ryder Rosnenberg, Josh Ader, Marcos Mellado, Julian Mellado, and Tyler Sastre. The JV Boys finished in a strong 13^th place and were led by Josef Frankel, Shiwon Kang, Andrew Lips, Hugo Larnholt, and Daniel Espinal.  The Girls Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team (15-3) lost to Ransom Everglades 25-19, 25-22.  Bella Brod led the way with 3 kills, 2 aces, and 5 digs, Mia Finvarb had 2 kills and 3 digs, Mikaela Tolles added 8 digs and Sophia Arcila had 2 aces and 10 digs. The Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (13-5) lost to Ransom Everglades 20-25, 25-22, 10-15.  Lucia Cartolano led the way with 15 service points, 7 aces, and 8 kills, Gianna Murdocco had 8 service points, 4 aces, and 7 kills, and Maria Lopez played well.
