In Thursday’s Athletic action…..The Varsity Volleyball Team (6-7) beat Somerset Central Miramar Academy 25-16, 25-8, 25-8. Ashley Michelin led the way with 19 service points, 15 assists, and 4 aces, Madeline Sukhdeo had 11 service points, 3 aces, and 2 digs, Brianna Lewin added 7 receptions, 7 service points, 3 aces, 2 digs, and 4 kills, Francesca Malo had 7 receptions and 2 service points, and Rianna Washington added 8 kills. The Middle School (JV) Volleyball Team (8-3) beat Somerset Central Miramar Academy 25-10, 25-4. Lucia Cartolano led the way with 16 aces, Laura DeWilde and Bianca Malatesta each had 3 assists. The results of the Middle School and Varsity Swim meet against Mater Lakes Academy and Carrollton will be in Monday’s update.
Today…..The Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball Teams travel to LaSalle at 3:30/5pm.
On Saturday……The Middle School (Varsity) Volleyball Team hosts the Spartan Invitational (MCDs, Ransom, Gulliver, Carrollton) at 9am, the Girls and Boys Varsity Swim Teams participate in the Ransom Invitational starting at 10am, the Varsity Volleyball and Golf Teams participate in their Community Service Project at Feeding South Florida at 1:30pm, and the Shores Spartans Football programs hosts games at 9am/11am/1pm/3pm.
Homecoming Football Game….. We are happy to announce that our HOMECOMING Football game will take place on Thursday, October 18th, at 7pm vs. Florida Christian. All senior golfers, swimmers, runners, and football players will be honored, along with their families, at halftime. The Volleyball seniors will be recognized at their “Senior game” on October 10th at 7:30pm, as they will be participating in the District Championship at Sagemont on October 18th.
Winter Sports
