In Thursday’s Athletic Action……The Varsity Volleyball Team (1-0) beat North Broward Prep in their regular-season opener 25-13, 20-25, 25-17, 25-21. Rianna Washingon led the way with 11 kills and 4 blocks, Francesca Malo had 11 service points, 4 aces, 9 digs, and 2 assists, and Ashley Michelin had 17 assists, 9 service points, 4 aces, and 5 digs. The Boys Golf Team (1-0) beat Westminster Christian 160-169. Griffin Steutel led the way with a 38, Jaden Russell shot a 39, and Torrence Mack added a 41. The Junior Varsity Volleyball Team (1-0) beat North Broward Prep 25-14, 25-19. Emma Zelkowitz let the way with 4 aces and 7 assists, Simone Hart added 3 aces and 6 assists, and Morgan Loeb had 2 aces and 5 kills.

Spartan Hall of Fame- The Miami Country Day School Alumni Association established the Spartan Athletic Hall of Fame to honor those individuals who have achieved a high level of success during their careers as student-athletes, coaches or through other significant accomplishments to the Miami Country Day School athletic program. Its purpose is to perpetuate the memory of those who have brought distinction, honor and excellence to Miami Country Day School.
