Tuesday, April 17, 2018:

Over the weekend……The Girls (8-16) and Boys (12-13) Varsity Water Polo Team (8-16) participated in the Ransom Everglades Invitational.  The girls beat Venice 18-8, but lost to Gulliver 17-3, Ransom 16-2, and Winter Park 16-0.  Chloe Cartledge led the way with 7 goals, 2 assists, and 6 steals, Sophia Guarini made 39 saves, Sofia Dieppa added 4 goals, 4 assists, and 2 steals, Patrizia Puppin had 2 goals, an assist, and 3 steals, Rhiannen Reig added 2 goals, 2 assists, and 6 steals, Sofia Paredes and Zeina Bazzi each scored, and Isabella Stripling had 2 assists and 4 steals.  The Boys lost to Westminster Academy 15-13, Gulliver 17-7, Ransom 12-2, and Orange Park 11-3.  Riccardo Di Giuseppe led the way with 88 saves, Sebastian Rodriguez-Fermin had 7 goals, Zachary Smith added 4 goals and 2 assists, Romeo Curcio had 3 goals, 3 assists, and 4 steals, Arie Sternberg had 3 goals, 2 assists, and 3 steals, Juan Marin Caro added 4 goals and an assist, Eric Bernsetin had 4 goals, and Ricardo Stamatis added a goal. 
 
On Monday……The Varsity Lacrosse Team (6-10) lost to Belen in the District Semi-finals 17-1.  Zachary Hart scored the Spartan’s lone goal.
 
In Today’s Action….The Varsity Baseball Team hosts Miami-Jackson High at 6pm, and the Girls and Boys Varsity Tennis Teams participate in Districts (all day) at Arthur Snyder Tennis Center. 
 
On Wednesday…..The Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams host Districts all day (schedule below), the Varsity Softball Team hosts LaSalle in the South Florida Softball Conference Semi-finals at 3:30pm, and the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Dr. Michael Krop in their annual ‘Senior Game” at 7pm. 
 
10am: Girls Semifinals – Hialeah vs. Miami Beach
11:30am: Girls Semifinals – Mast Academy vs. Miami Country Day School
1pm: Boys Semifinals – Hialeah vs. Miami Country Day
2:30pm: Boys Semifinals – Miami Beach vs. Mast Academy
4pm: Girls District Championship game
5:30pm: Boys District Championship game
