In Tuesday’s Athletic Action…..The Girls Varsity Tennis Team (5-3) beat American Heritage-Delray 4-3. Julia Rose Siegler, Allexii Bassette, Lolita Bell, and Danielle Bernstein all won their singles matches. The Varsity Lacrosse Team (1-5) beat Archbishop McCarthy 12-4. Ryan Finvarb led the way with 4 goals and an assist, Noah Reines had 2 goals and an assist, Marlon Robbins added 2 goals, Danny Strouse and Evan Mendelson each had a goal and an assist, Sean Fuller and Jovan Joseph all scored, Zachary Hart, Matt Hanson, Blaise Pronesti, and Jake Fishman all added assists, and Jake Fishman and Corso Luicano each played well in net. The Boys Varsity Tennis Team (4-3) lost to American Heritage-Delray 7-0. The Middle School (Varsity) Lacrosse Team (1-4-1) lost to Ransom Everglades 7-6. James Brill and Daniel Estupinan each led the way with 2 goals, Mikey Port and Austin Eismont each had a goal and an assist, Rainen O’Kurley made 10 saves, and James Scher played well. The Girls Middle School Tennis Team (2-3) lost to Carrollton 5-2. Lucia Burton and Scout Hudson each won their singles matches.

Today……The Winter Sports Awards Ceremony will take place this evening at 6:45pm in the J. Calvin Rose Athletic Center. We will be serving food at 6pm, the slide show will start at 6:30pm, followed by the awards ceremony at 6:45pm.

On Thursday……The Middle School Baseball Team travels to Ransom Everglades (Boys and Girls Club) at 4pm, the Softball Team hosts Somerset Central Miramar Academy at 4pm, the Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams host Cushman at 3pm (Miami Shores Country Club), and the Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams travel to Hialeah High (Milander Aquatic Center) at 3/4pm.
