On Friday……The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (10-2-2) beat Archemidean 5-1.  Remy Cross led the way with a goal and an assist, Khalil Winder, Dre Medici, Pablo Gutierrez, and Josef Frenkel each scored, and Liam Weil, Daniel Dieppa, and Nico Arriola played well on defense.  The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (10-7) beat Palm Beach Lakes 68-39.  Aasiya Berry led the way with 26 points and 6 rebounds, Koi Love had 18 points, 2 steals, and 2 assists, Sydney Shaw added 8 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists, and Riana Doctor had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals.  The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (5-7) lost to Grandview Prep 73-63. Tristan Escalante led the way with 17 points and 5 assists, Julius Delgado had 16 points and 5 rebounds, and Nate Outten added 13 points and 6 rebounds.
 
In Saturday’s Athletic Events…..The Boys Middle School Soccer Team (12-4-1) participated in the South Florida Middle School Conference Championships at Palmer-Trinity.  The boys beat Riviera Prep in game one 4-3, but lost in the conference semifinals to Ransom Everglades 3-0.  Stefano Dumas led the way with 3 goals, Alec Miller added a goal, Lucas Hansen and Matthew Collins each had assists, and Rafael Urbina and Connor Sastre each played well.  The Girls Middle School Soccer Team (5-6-5) lost to Riviera Prep in the South Florida Middle School Conference championships 2-1.  Logan Sennett scored and Lauren White made 10 saves.  The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (10-8) lost to Fort Myers 74-52.  Koi Love led the way with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, Maria Alvarez had 9 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 3 steals, Emani Theodule added 7 points, 2 assists, and 2 blocks, and Asha Taylor had 5 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds.  The Boys Middle School (JV) Basketball Team (2-11) hosted the Spartan Invitational.  In game 1, they lost to Palmer-Trinity 20-19. James Deering led the way with 9 points, Josh Harris added 7 points, Alex Mendelson added 5 assists, and Nate Giovannucci had 5 steals and 2 rebounds.  In game 2, they lost to University School 62-11.  Alex Mendelson had 4 points, and Ryder Rosenberg had 3 steals and 4 rebounds.  In the consolation game, they lost to Riviera Prep 31-27.  James Deering led the way with 9 points, Alex Mendelson added 8 points, and nate Giovannucci had 4 steals and 2 rebounds.  


In Tuesday’s Athletic Action…..The Girls Varsity Soccer Team (13-3-2) beat North Broward Prep 2-1.  Alyson Rodriguez led the way with a goal and an assist, and Becky Bibas scored the other Spartan goal.  The Girls Varsity Basketball Team (11-8) beat Somerset Central Miramar Academy 79-13.  Kristina Godfrey led the way with 12 points and 2 rebounds, Aasiya Berry had 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks, Maria Alvarez added 8 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds, Sydney Shaw had 8 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds, Emani Theodule had 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Karina Gordon added 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.  The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (6-7) beat Somerset Central Miramar Academy in overtime 58-47.  Tristan Escalante led the way with 18 points, Nate Outten added 17 points, and Julius Delgado had 12 points.  The Boys Varsity Soccer Team (10-3-2) lost to Boca Christian 3-1.  Dre Medici scored for the Spartans.  The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (7-4) lost to Somerset Central Miramar Academy 60-46.  Ryan Mendelson led the way with 17 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals, Jameson Schuchts added 12 points and 5 rebounds, and Sasha Carrillo had 6 points and 11 rebounds. 
 
Today…..There are no games scheduled for today.
 
On Thursday….the Boys Varsity Soccer Team travels to marathon at 4pm, and the Girls Varsity Soccer Team hosts Carrollton in their annual senior game at 7pm.  Please come out to honor Danielle Geathers, Ava Hansen, and Amanda Martin in the final regular season game of their soccer career.
