After graduating from Amherst College in 2015 with a BA in neuroscience, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in strategic communications. My firm helps clients manage through transformative events affecting their reputation, business and market value. We oversee communications with all key stakeholders, including journalists, investors, analysts, employees, business partners, lawmakers and regulators. Over the last four years, I have worked with Boards and management teams to manage some of the most significant corporate crises and largest mergers and acquisitions.

If there are any current students or alumni interested in working in the communications space or considering attending Amherst College, feel free to contact me at columbiaclancy@gmail.com. I would love to connect!

5. Please share one of your favorite moments, experiences, or memories from your time at Miami Country Day.

After 13 great years at MCDS, it’s hard to pick just one! However, I have to say that the Senior Sunrise is a special and unique tradition. I vividly remember how emotional it was to begin our class’ last year together with a sunrise breakfast on the beach.

6.What is one experience from MCDS that you’ve taken with you and have referred back to as a resource or guide in your adult life?

We are so lucky at MCDS to have a diverse community of students, faculty and staff from all over the world. I truly value the fact that from a young age I was exposed to various cultures, religions and backgrounds. It helped shape my love of travel and my respect for and interest in other traditions.

7. What advice would you offer future MCDS alumni?

Stay involved and keep in touch with your fellow Spartans. We have a great community in Miami and around the world!
