In Monday’s Athletic Action.....The Varsity Baseball Team (10-8) beat Everglades Prep in the South Florida Baseball Conference Quarterfinals 3-0.  Hanley Ramirez, in his first varsity start, threw a complete game, 2-hit shutout. The Spartans scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to secure the win.  Eric Germeus, Connor Goodman, and Sean Finny all scored, and Lukas Peterson added an RBI single. The boys will host Palmer-Trinity in the South Florida Baseball Conference Semifinals this evening at 7pm.  Riviera Prep plays Ransom Everglades in the 4pm game.

Attention Spring Athletes, Families, and Friends........ Our Spring Sports Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 8, at 6:30pm.  We have changed the format a bit, to make the evening a bit shorter and more convenient for our student-athletes, coaches, and families.  Instead of having everyone meet in the gym for a collective assembly, we will have everyone go to their respective rooms, listed below, or individual and team recognition, as well as special awards.  This ceremony should take everyone about 30 minutes, so we hope everyone will be able to attend.
