In Thursday’s Athletic Events……..The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team (7-4) beat Palmer-Trinity 20-1. Noah Reines led the way with 5 goals and 2 assists, Jake Fishman had 4 goals and 5 assists, Noah Markofsky added 3 goals and 2 assists, Jack Finvarb had 2 goals and 2 assists, Mitchell Koch and Chaz Berkowitz each added 2 goals, Stevie Port had a goal and an assist, Milan Luciano scored, and Marlon Robins had an assist. The Girls Middle School Tennis Team (7-2) beat Westminster Christian 7-0. Scout Hudson, Sierra Rosen, Scarlett Richards, and Remi Rosenfeld won their singles matches, and Chiara Moura and Talia Kurlandski, and Remi and Sierra won their doubles matches. The Boys Middle School Tennis Team (8-2) beat Westminster Christian 7-0. Cliff Halliwell, Francesco Rumiano, Michael Claramonte, and Gabriel Sredni won their singles matches, and Juan de Zabala and Michael, August Bicknell and Gabriel won their doubles matches. The Boys Varsity Water Polo Team (10-7) beat Mast Academy 13-7. Romeo Curcio led the way with 4 goals, 3 assists, and 6 steals, Zach Charalambides and Ricky Stamatis each scored 3 goals, Michael Bernstein added 2 goals, Jackson Jimenez added a goal and an assist, Jake Grossman had an assist and 2 steals, and Riccardo Di Giuseppe made 7 saves. The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team (1-5) lost to Palmer-Trinity 13-2. Rachel Hodes and Laureen Jean-Jacques each scored. The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team (10-6) lost to Mast Academy 11-9. Chloe Cartledge led the way with 4 goals, Patrizia Puppin and Rhiannen Reig each had 2 goals and 2 steals, Sofia Parades scored, and Sophia Guarini made 8 saves.
Today….The Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams participate in the Gulliver Tournament. The girls play on Friday at 1:20pm vs. St. Thomas Aquinas, and 4:40pm vs. Westminster Academy, and on Saturday at 9:50am vs. Krop and 1:10pm vs. Gulliver. The Boys play on Friday at 11:40am vs. Krop, 1:20pm vs. Westminster Academy, 5:30pm vs. Fort Lauderdale, and on Saturday at 3:40pm vs. Gulliver.
