In Tuesday’s Athletic Action…..Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team (1-4).  They beat Killian High School to record the first girls lacrosse win in school history.  Andrea Pantin led the way with 3 goals, Sophia Agurcia and Rachel Hodes each added 2 goals, and Carly Williams scored. The Girls Middle School Tennis Team (6-1) beat Cushman 7-0.  Brook Kovacs, Scout Hudson, Scarlett Richards, Talia Kurlandski, and Chiara Moura all won their singles matches, and Sierra Rosen and Remi Rosenfeld, Ginger Jacob and Maria Lola Lopez won their doubles matches. The Boys Middle School Tennis Team (6-0) beat Cushman 7-0. Oscar Bergier, Michael Claramonte, Gabriel Srendi, and August Bicknell won their singles matches, and Juan de Zabala and Francesco Rumiano, and August and Gabriel won their doubles matches. The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team (4-3) beat Coral Springs Charter 13-3. Chaz Berkowitz led the way with 6 goals and an assist, David Burger made 12 saves, Noah Markofsky added 2 goals and 4 assists, Sean Fuller had 2 goals, Jake Fishman added a goal and an assist, Jack Finvarb and Marlon Robins each scored, and Romain Vinois added an assist. The Varsity Baseball Team (4-1) beat Marathon 18-0. Connor Goodman led the way, going 2 for 2 with 4 runs scored, Myles Berlowitz was 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored, Eric Germeus scored 2 runs and had 3 RBI, Zac Wyka scored 4 runs, and Lukas Peterson (3-0) threw 3 innings with 6 strikeouts for the win. The Boys Varsity Water Polo Team (8-6) lost to Hialeah High School 11-2.  Riccardo Di Giuseppe made 12 saves, and Zach Charalambides scored 2 goals. The Girls Varsity Water Polo Team (9-4) lost to Hialeah High School 15-3.  Chloe Carledge scored 2 goals, Isabella Stripling added a goal, and Sophia Guarini made 8 saves. The Softball Team (1-4) lost to LaSalle 21-6.  Tatiana Barnes led the way with 2 hits, 2 RBI, and a run scored, Saarah Rassif had 2 hits, 2 RBI, and a run scored, Leyka Rojo added a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored, Silvi Ferrari singles and scored a run, Isabella Allen hit a homerun, and Arielle Germeus and Olivia Borchers each singled.
 
Today…The Middle School Water Polo Team travels to Riviera Prep at 5pm, the Middle School Baseball Team hosts Riviera Prep at 4pm, and the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Palmer-Trinity at 7pm.
 
On Thursday…..The Middle School Water Polo Team hosts Ransom Everglades at 5pm, the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team hosts Columbus at 6pm, and the Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams host Ransom Everglades at 3:30pm.
