Late Monday…. The Boys Varsity Water Polo Team (5-3) beat Mast Academy 15-4.  Romeo Curcio led the way with 9 goals and 5 assists, Ricky Stamatis had 3 goals and 5 assists, Michael Bernstein added 2 goals, Zach Charalambides had a goal and 2 assists, Ilan Zenatti added 3 assists, and Riccardo Di Giuseppe made 9 saves.

In Tuesday’s Action……The Girls Varsity Tennis Team (2-3) beat Sagemont 7-0.  Allexii Bassette, Gabby Bassette, Gabby Martinez, Maria Salazar, and Lolita Bell won their singles matches, and Nina Vara and Maria Salazar, and Danni Bernstein and Stella Nixdorf won their doubles matches.  The Boys Varsity Tennis Team (3-1) beat Sagemont 6-1. Morgan Weisberg, Harrison Breslow, Jackson Halliwell, Oscar Goncalves, and Andrew Calfa won their singles matches, and Jared Resnick and Efe Deniz, Lucas Chemla and Luca Donayre won their doubles matches.  The Girls Middle School Tennis Team (4-0) beat Riviera Prep 7-0.  Lucia Burton, Scout Hudson, Ginger Jacob, and Remi Rosenfeld won their singles matches, and Brookie Kovacs and Sierra Rosen, Talia Kurlandski and Maria Lola Lopez won their doubles matches. The Girls Varsity Lacrosse game was cancelled due to inclement weather.  The Boys Middle School Tennis Team (3-0) beat Riviera Prep 5-2.  Cliff Halliwell, Oscar Bergier, Michael Claramonte, and August Bicknell won their singles matches, and Francesco Rumiano and Gabriel Srendi won their doubles match. The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team (2-2) lost to Belen 18-3. Sean Fuller had a goal and an assist, Mitchell Koch and Jake Fishman each scored, and Marlon Robins and Stevie Port each added assists.  The Middle School Water Polo Team (1-2) lost to Gulliver 23-4.  Stuart Browning led the way with 2 goals and an assist, Nicolas De La Cadena and Nico Dunn each scored, Jashan Singh added 2 assists, Felipe Blaya had an assist, and Leonard Niemeyer had 20 saves and 2 steals. The Softball Team (1-3) lost to Coral Shores 17-0.  Leyka Rojo singled, and Alicia Kelly and Tatiana Barnes played well on defense. The Middle School Baseball Team (0-3) lost to University School 13-4. Hanley Ramirez was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI, 2 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases, and Jake Wyka was 1 for 2 with a run scored.
 
Today…….Our Winter Sports Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30pm.  We are asking all coaches, student-athletes, friends, and families to report to the rooms listed below for individual and team recognition, as well as special awards.  This ceremony should only last about 30-45 minutes, so please join us in celebrating the outstanding accomplishments our of Winter student-athletes and coaches.

On Thursday…….The Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams travel to Palmer-Trinity at 3:30pm, the Girls Varsity Tennis Team travels to Divine Savior at 3pm, the Boys Varsity Tennis Team hosts Belen at 4pm, the Boys and Girls Varsity Water Polo Teams participate in the Pines Charter Invitational at 5:10/6pm, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team hosts Calvary Christian at 4pm, and the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team hosts Westminster Christian at 6pm.
