Monday, March 4, 2019:

In Friday’s Athletic Action….The Boys Varsity Tennis Team (2-1) beat Riviera Prep 6-1. Louis Siegler, Oscar Goncalves, Andrew Calfa, Efe Deniz, and Daniel Tzalik all won their singles matches, and Andrew Calfa and Luca Donayre, and Efe Deniz and Lucas Chemla won their doubles matches.  The Girls Varsity Tennis Team (1-3) lost to Riviera Prep 6-1.  Allexii Bassette won her singles match. The Varsity Baseball Team (1-1) lost to North Miami Beach 9-7. Connor Goodman went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored, and Dhillon Murphy and Myles Berlowitz each had RBI singles.  The Softball Team (1-2) lost to Colonial Christian 19-6.  Tatiana Barnes led the way with 2 hits and an RBI, Isabella Allen scored 2 runs, and Alicia Kelly singled in a run and scored. The Girls and Boys Varsity Water Polo Teams results against Miami Beach High will be in Tuesday’s update. 
 
On Saturday…..The Middle School Lacrosse Team (1-3) lost to Ransom Everglades 7-2 and Gulliver 9-3. Rainen O’Kurley made 24 saves, Beck Trafton won 10 of 12 face-offs and scored, and James Deering added a goal.  The Middle School Baseball Team (0-2) lost to Marathon 7-0 and 15-0.
 
Today….The Boys and Girls Water Polo Teams travel to Mast Academy at 4/5pm, and the Varsity Baseball Team hosts Somerset Homestead Academy at 6pm. 
 
On Tuesday……The Middle School Baseball Team travels to University School at 3:30pm, the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Coral Springs Charter (North Community Park) at 4pm, the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team travels to Belen at 4pm, the Middle School Water Polo Team hosts Gulliver at 4pm (Livestreamed Event), the Girls and Boys Middle School Tennis Teams host Riviera Prep at 3pm, the Girls and Boys Varsity Tennis Teams host Sagemont at 3pm, and the Softball Team hosts Coral Shores at 6pm. 
 
Winter Sports Awards Ceremony…… Our Winter Sports Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30pm.  We are asking all coaches, student-athletes, friends, and families to report to the rooms listed below for individual and team recognition, as well as special awards.  This ceremony should only last about 30-45 minutes, so please join us in celebrating the outstanding accomplishments our of Winter student-athletes and coaches.
