In Thursday’s Athletic Events….…… Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer Team (13-2-4).  They beat Hillel to win the District 14-1A Championship 3-1.  Diego Oropeza Rodrigues led the way with 2 goals and an assist, Erik Pantin added a goal, Michael Mcpherson was outstanding in goal, making 12 saves, and Ethan White, Daniel Dieppa, Remy Cross, and Gerardo Pantin Escudero all played well on defense.  The Boys will host Sagemont in the Regional Quarterfinals on Wednesday at 7pm. The Boys Varsity Basketball Team (9-12) beat Somerset Central Miramar Academy 74-50.  Jordan Cooke led the way with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists, Nate Outten added 19 points and 5 rebounds, and Jasai Miles had 10 points and 4 rebounds.  The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team (0-17) lost to Somerset Central Miramar Academy 56-45.  Dhillon Murphy led the way with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks, Eric Germeus had steals and 8 rebounds, Shane Piller added 11 points and 8 assists.
 
Today…..Please come out an support the Girls Varsity Basketball Team (#1 Team in the Country).  They host American Heritage in their “Senior game” at 4:30pm.  Please help us honor Rachel Kaiser, Jayda Theodule, Koi Love, and Maria Alvarez and their families in their final regular season home game. In addition, the Boys Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball Teams host Miami-Edison High School at 6/7:30pm. 
 
On Saturday, the Girls Varsity Basketball Team travels to IMG Academy at 2pm, and the Boys and Girls Tennis, Boys Lacrosse, and Boys and Girls Water Polo Teams participate in their Spring service project at Feeding South Florida starting at 8:30am.
